I think all Panther fans will agree with that. He has really turned the potential this team had into something special. Lets just hope that it continues and that we can get that play off spot!

So who gets the start against Dallas? T-vo or Andy! My vote is for T-vo.

Carolina won which was the outcome we wanted. We have more games remaining against them and quite frankly, I think Pittsburgh is more likely to go on a tear than Carolina.

We still have three games in hand on each of them.

EDIT: Actually, we have three games left against the Pens and only two against Carolina.

Unless things drastically change, it looks like its going to be a dogfight between Florida, Carolina, Buffalo and Pittsburgh for the 7th and 8th seeds. I seriously think we have a shot...

Yes, we do. More home games than any team in the NHL, one game in hand on Buffalo and three on Carolina and Pittsburgh.

We just can't afford to lose 3-4 in a row.

If you look at the plus minus of those teams, our players have the best numbers by far. Carolina is horrific. So is Buffalo. We just need to stay out of the penalty box and we will make it easily.

We are in a good spot here. Multiple games in hand on several teams, with just a few points separating everyone. Lets go into the All-Star break on a high note; get into the eight spot before then, and just before the game starts on Sunday, announce a new deal for Bouwmeester, right before he wins the MVP. Hey, stranger things have happened lol.

The game against the Stars should be a win, and Ill tell you why:

Its actually quite simple. MUCH MORE times than not, when the Heat and Panthers play on the same night, one of the two teams lose. VERY rarely do you see both teams win, and VERY rarely do you see both teams lose. Tomorrow, the Heat host the Boston Celtics, and while the Heat have been much improved over last season, but I dont see them winning the game, which should mean a win for us.

So there is my expertise lol.

Unfortunately, I can see one of those huge let down games coming up tonight by the cats. Hopefully I'm wrong.

You won't be - my hopes are lifting for the Panthers to make the playoffs. Regrettably, as it means they'll fall farther when they fail.

Someone start a new GDT.
