One weak goal and the kid has regressed... I dont dont if I must shake the head or laugh..

Halak has been extremmely solid while Price was injured, once he felt the guys were behind him, he looked like a pretty good starter in the NHL..

Once again, people have to start watching some other hockey than just the Habs, weak goals happen about every games.. Even the top goaltenders in the league will give a weak goal once in a while.. As far as I know Halak has been weak only on the first goal yesterday, the second was a shot in the slot, the guy was alone.. you cant blame a goaltender for a goal like this and certainly not calling it a soft one.. It was the team not showing up, I wont blame our goaltenders when our team does not even show up..

Yup, a goalie has regressed so much because he had a bad stretch of games.

A guy who was drafted #271 overall.. will never have "regressed."

He's ranked in the top-30 in GAA and SV%.. so he's doing alright. I'm not thrilled with his play, but he's a 24-year old, 9th round pick.. and he's playing in the NHL. I think he's got to feel pretty confident.

Who cares where he was drafted...people keep on bringing that up. Yes we know he was drafted 271st, that has nothing to do with why he is playing bad right now. Of course he can regress if we feel he was better then this last year or 2 years ago.

And BTW, he's ranked 34th out of 44 goalies in GAA and 30th out of 44 goalies in Sv Pct..All this on one of the top ranked teams in the League. The only goalie doing worse on a another good team is Chris Osgood in Detroit.

Oh please...one week goal?? Maybe one weak goal yesterday, but he has let in numerous weak goals in the 9 game stretch he took over from Carey Price.... You don't have horrible stats like he has in the past 9 games just giving up "1 weak goal".

Halak is disappointing. I'm a fan of his, but I won't wear rose-colored glasses, he's really not playing at the level we all expected him to.

Last night was yet again another night when he could've allowed only 1-2 goals and yet let in 3.
