Best Save by a Thrashers Goalie

Norm Maracle's 180 twist backhand glove save on Boston's Bill Guerin(my all-time favorite)

Damian Rhodes 2-on-0 save against NY Rangers

Pasi Nurminem's "donkey kong" skate save against Toronto

or any other save, etc.

Lehtonen in a butterfly slide to rob Dave Andreychuk, from about 25 degrees and 10 feet at the upper front corner, with his shoulder. Stretches and acrobatics are nice, but that was a downright scary example of the efficiency of the butterfly style.

Kari Lehtonen's point-blank, flashing-the-right-pad save against Cheechoo in Game 3 of the Cup finals...

Donkey Kong. One of the coolest saves I've seen.

Mine came four years ago when Norm Maracle saved a half gallon of chocolate milk from going bad by chugging it in the 24 seconds before midnight of the expiration date. It was an absolutely breathtaking display of heart, determination, and efficiency - those who didn't witness it know not what they missed.

Best Normie save: not doing time for a hottub liaison with a minor.

You know you are in trouble when...your defense starts with, "But officer, does she look 16 to you?"

Maracle's save on Bure. Bure took a shot and started celebrating and i started cussing and norm tossed the puck from his glove. I screamed hell ya and bure got pissed. What an awesome save. However, i think Bure scored 4 that night.

Can someone post Pasi's or Maracles saves? I also thought Thrasher fans hates Nor Maracle

The best thing about Pasi's "Donkey Kong" save was it's timing, IMHO.

Those that saw it will recall it came in the dying seconds of regulation in 3-3 game against the Maple Leafs who had dominated us much of the night.

That save by Pasi was not only awesome to watch, it got us a point in a game we should have lost judging by how Toronto outplayed us that night.

We also started winning some games after that tie, too.

They used to have replays of Nurminens saves at the Atlanta Thrashers website, they should still be there.
