Nice poll. Have to go with Krejci, he's moving towards monster status.

I guess it's just a preference of style of play. Setoguchi fits the Sharks, especially on Thornton's wing, better than Krejci. Neither one of them is a bad choice, and there are plenty of teams that would take Krejci. I doubt the Bruins or Sharks would trade them one-for-one.

I think Krejci makes those around him better more than Gooch does. But it's a good battle.

As a Pens fan, Setoguchi. Course that probably clouds matters a little.

Krejci.

Everyone looks good when they play with Thornton. Just look at Glen Murray and Sergei Samsonov. I don't need to say anything else.

Yeah, Mark Bell really tore the league up when he was with Thornton. Same with Nils Ekman.

Please, Nils Ekman, are you serious? The guy is a 3rd liner at best, plus he had 21 goals in 05-06. What's wrong with that?

he was being sarcastic. You can't put some random scrub with Thornton and expect fantastic results. Cheechoo was the perfect player for the time when Thornton came to the Sharks because he is a guy with a great shot and good instincts for where to be on teh ice. Since then he's had injuries and an increasing amount of exposure on his sub-par skating. Setoguchi is much more talented player than Cheechoo was. he has everything Cheechoo did, plus he can skate well and can create on his own when necessary.

Obviously playing with a guy who can be considered the league's best playmaker will boost your totals. But all this talk like Thornton elevates terrible players to elite status needs to stop. Joe Thornton doesn't will pucks into the net off of his teammates' sticks. The guy receiving the pass still has to be able to finish. Otherwise why didn't guys like Ekman or Bell have standout seasons?

I'll go with the kid who's leading the NHL in scoring for the last 2 months, plays in all situations, and makes everyone around him better.

Krejci will be a top 10 player in this league in the next 5 years, book it.

Ive watched alot of Krejci back when he was in the Q

He played for the Olympiques and was a very good player

He's looking like a very good complete player thus far

With that said,I'd take Setoguchi,a pure sniper

I think they each are the better fits for their own team, Sharks have so much depth at center and lack a true sniper other than the struggling Cheechoo so Setoguchi is exactly what the doctor ordered. Krejci fits in better with the Bruins although if Bergeron gets back to form they may have an abundance of centers as well although that is never a bad thing.

Depends on what you're looking for, they're both young and great at what they do.
