Look at his username.

It could be Foppa's mother.

Sign Foppa as coach?

Back on topic... Would I like a healthy Forsberg? Of course. Do I think a healthy Forsberg exists? Yes, but only because Forsberg seems to be a common Swedish name and one of them has to be healthy, right?

I voted yes. He's injury prone and we're broke but I'd still take Forsberg any day.

No, let him end his career the way it started with Markus Naslund.

If Homer is truly talking to Forsberg with legitimate interest, I can't help but to think that he knows something about Briere that we don't.
I know it's 'if'...but if Briere is to be fine for the playoffs...we need another center like a hole in the head. Bringing in Forsberg would help
with 'depth', but it doesn't address a team need.

There must be a Briere trade in the works

You could say that about trading JVR, Lupul and a 1st for Pronger. It's all the same difference.

My above line of type is hypothetical.

The thing is, a Pronger/J.Bo helps this currrent team more than a Forsberg. This team lacks backend depth/talent more than it does forward talent.

Honestly, I would happily take Forsberg back again. Ankles, feet and all.

He could be the slowest player in the league, and still make plays that make you just drop your jaw. I love the guy.

Plus, even an immobile Forsberg plays better D then Lupul or Briere.

Forsberg does have experience at wing, but I see him playing C.

only way i want him is if he can somehow prove his foot is 100% and will not crap out on him 2 games in. which i doubt is the case. last thing we need is another peter forsberg distraction.

exactly.

where would you put forsberg anyway?

i guess you would send giroux back down because theres no sense in keeping the kid up here if hes going to get 5 minutes a night on the 4th line.

If Giroux goes on the fourth line, might as well send him back to the ahl. For his talent and skills its a waste

That's fine until Briere comes back.
