So regarding the skills comp, which hab player will be participating in what activity?

The only ones I know are Komisarek for hardest shot (uh oh) and Kovalev for break away comp.

Will kovy be participating in the shot precision comp too?

At first glance Komisarek in the hardest shot competition seems like a horrible idea, but then I think about all the past discrepancies with the measurement system and there is a possibility that he flukes out a decent shot.

If Chad Kilger can hold the unofficial record for hardest shot of all time...

Quick question regarding the ASG...

I'm currently in France and was wondering if any of you guys knew how I could watch the Skills comp and the ASG on the net. I tried looking and didn't find anything.

Thanks a bunch to those who can help.

Some players should be around. A number of young stars were here yesterday, so I'm sure even more guys will be available today.

For those of legal drinking age. Here's a tip...

If you are of legal age and want to hang out where the hockey players party, Buonanotte supper club on St. Laurent Blvd. has hired celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson to spin the discs starting at 11:30 p.m. Friday.

"Lots of hockey players usually come here, so we expect them again," said Buonanotte publicist Fred Avertick.

I've said this before, but didn't he shot 100mph or more at the AHL All-Star back in his career?

Yup. 106.7 mph

I hope he pulls something similar at the ASG.

My feeling is Komi will barely hit 90 mpg.

Komisarek has a very hard shot. Maybe not in the same range as Souray's, but I would say in the high 90's.

Souray gains at least 5 mph just by intimidating the puck when he stares at it before firing away.

I say he should be blindfolded for the competition.

The problem is, Komisarek has to get it in the net for the shot to register

A friend from a beer league I play in had his shot clocked at 94.7 at the Jamboree. Now I'm sure they boost those readings up but it wouldn't surprise me if it was close to accurate, he has an absolute cannon.
