Check the GDTs. On the first page, there should be a post from the Merc's Pollak WRT recent practice reports. He usually lists 'em there. Or head to the end of the GDTs and look for the "Sharks recap" as they often summarize it there.

That looks like some Stanely Cup winners to me. I think Mitchell would be on the 3rd line with Goc on the 4th. Where does Claude fit in?

Claude fits in with this playoff forward lineup:

Marleau-Thornton-Seto
Michalek-Pavelski-Clowe
Grier-Mitchell-Cheechoo
Lemieux-Goc-Roenick (or Goc-Roenick-Lemieux, but Goc takes draws since he 6th in all of the NHL in faceoff winning %).

There's your playoff lineup. Now in a series against the Ducks you might consider benching someone (not "6th in the NHL in faceoffs and Pahlsson style defensive forward playing" Goc) for Shelley, but otherwise the forward lineup above is where it's at.

And Shelley gets to watch from the box? I just think the guys play harder with him on the ice. Other teams think twice about taking liberties on us....

Shelley doesn't offer much when it comes to the playoffs. As long as you have other physical gritty type 4th liners then you don't need a heavyweight like Shelley out there.
