He's still under contract and with Marty you never know if he's going to be healthy.

Knowing his luck a piano will be dropped on him by a wayward stork while eating breakfast at Denny's.

He'll probably play on a line with Alexander Frolov and Craig Conroy... or atleast that's what I think. You never know with Andy Murray.

Injury's ruined his career. I remember his 95 pt year everyone thought he was going to be great next year, but then injury's came along.

If you'll direct your attention to the left of your screen, you'll see my opinion of Martin Straka. When he came to the Kings last season, he played with a whole lot heart and determination and put up some good numbers. Unfortunately, injuries began to dog him and he was forced to have surgery on both knees; he wasn't the same player when he came back. However, I'm hoping that the majority of his health troubles(and those of the entire team, for that matter) are behind him.

You can definitely slate him in a top six role, however whom he plays with and what position he plays will undoubtedly change on a nightly basis. Andy Murray likes to mix his offensive lines up a great deal.

if straka stays healthy for one full year , he could be a big point producer.

He's done that his whole career.

He's just run into so much bad luck. If any other player went through what Straka has gone through in his career... they probably would've given up by now and say that it's just not worth it anymore.

I got to meet him when he was a rookie for Pittsburgh. A few players from each local ice hockey team got selected to goto a banquet with Straka and Mike Lange. Very nice although he didn't speak much english. Always was a fan of his and always will be. I hope his carrear is on the right track again!
