Nice read. Kovalev is a proud athlete in general. I like it.

Are tickets for tomorrow morning's practice sold out already? Can we buy them directly at the Bell Centre tomorrow morning?

EDIT: Wtf, they're on sale for ~100$ on eBay...

Kovalev called HOF worthy in that NHL.com article.

Hope he goes in as a Hab. But he probably will as a Ranger.

Wonder if he'll get an exhibit in the Habs' HOF and ROH when he retires?

I know Saku probably will get both.

Article also mentions the ovation he got when he made his first appearence as a Hab. Is it uploaded anywhere?

Can you imagine Bob pulling a coup for him this weekend?

Ugh..the page has an error and won't load for me. Can you give a brief summary Kimota?

Edit: It seems to be working now.

I'm pretty sure Markov has an hardest shot than Komisarek.
On the other hand it's tough to evaluate Komi's shot since 99% of the time it's blocked 3 feet away by an opponent.

Can anyone tell me what time the actual SKILLS and what time the YOUNG STARS games are starting? I know the whole shi-bang should start at 7 pm but I'd like a better breakdown

So anyone else see Datysuk and Lindstrom got suspended for the first game after the All-Star Break for purposely missing the weekend?

Wow. I like that rule. It's a priviledge to play in the NHL, not a right.

It's in Montreal: Gary doesn't want this to be a fiasco at the face of the World.

Nah, iv'e heard both Detroit players are banged up so they should be able to skip so they can be healthy for the playoffs push.

I completely agree with Bettman. Simply put: If you are heaalthy enough to play in a regular season game, you can play in the All Star game which is much less physical. The players want a percentage of the revenue but don't want to work for it.

When you get a chance, go over and check out habs425's great work. He did an amazing GDT for the SuperSkills Competition & YoungStars Game.

Here's the link to the National Hockey League Talk board.

I'm just getting sick of the bickering b/w the nhl and teams. This is like the party that nobody wants to go to. If they really wanted this event to be a success going forward (I think that it is awesome that its in MOntreal this year) they have to move it to the summer. The also have to make some serious changes to it, like adding celebrities (see below)

Thoughts?

SuperSkills competition is scheduled between 7 and 9pm EST. There are 2 events before and 2 after the YoungStars Game. I guess you should catch it around 7:45pm.

Anyone watching the nhl network? Julien was asked what teams worry him the most and he said Buffalo, Philly (they havent played yet so he doesn't know how they match-up), Washington and Jersey.
