....AND that's where you're wrong. I didn't do ANYTHING but discuss the ASG until someone had to start **** and say stuff about Rangers players. As far as I know, I'm allowed to defend my team as long as I don't personally attack a poster. Did I do that? No. So stop whining.

Yeah that was a pretty crappy job

but no, same speed as last year.

rookies looked like they were playing more defense though, and price got outplayed

That was lame.

It should be abolished... and ESPN needs to get back into the mix... seriously. VS is terrible

Sophmores were trying to be cute and didn't realize that fans will be more entertained if they just scored a bunch of goals. Leave the fancy tricks to AO (loved the hat) and co.

edit: who is this soup tool? puke.

It was like they were skating in sand. It was just terrible. The whole event so far has been terrible, partially saved by Ovechkin though.

this year's looked incredibly slow like no one was taking it seriously (as an entertaining experience for the fans). How many times did you see a camera on nothing? They showed Staal's face on the bench for like 10 seconds while their was a goal on ice and then there is no replay and then there is the random replay of no particularly interesting play, and the horrible replay in the middle of game play. And I counted 3 goals scoreds off camera during those cut aways and they only showed one of them. the Doughty goal near the end. uuuuuuuuuuuugh.

Hooray for Staal and his two goals though.

What is it with promoting charity events? They are great and all but they should be promoting the game. so not-entertaining.

Seriously, I completely understand that no one wants to get hurt in a game that doesn't count, I'm completely on board with that, no team needs that.

Here's my proposal-

1) Drop the ALL-Star game completely, instead send a team of 5 players from every nhl team to compete in a more expanded skills competition that winds down to a last team standing

2) For the actual game, bring in the best prospects from each teams system, 1-2 guys, let the best (signed professional prospects) go at it in a real game, maybe not a bloodbath type game, but a full speed game with contact. I know its still risky to play the best prospects, but these guys are looking to break into the nhl, and there is no risk to the current NHL team roster

wow, Iginla shot three pucks cleanly through the styrofoam targets without shattering them. Like something out of Looney Tunes. I've never seen that before.

Weber wins in my book. Chara is basically cheating by being that tall.
