2009 Canadian/Planet USA AHL All-Star team announced

The American Hockey League announced today the Canadian AHL All-Star team roster for the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Charter Communications, to be played later this month at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass. The team comprises 24 players – 13 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders – born in Canada.

The American Hockey League announced today the PlanetUSA AHL All-Star team roster for the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Charter Communications, to be played later this month at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass. As selected players can't make it I expect the host city to add 1 or 2 players......... and not necessarily because they are the most qualified.

Lake Erie goaltender Tyler Weiman, Norfolk forward Brandon Segal, Syracuse forward Derek MacKenzie, Hartford forward Artem Anisimov and Philadelphia forward Jared Ross have been added to the rosters for the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Charter Communications, to take place this Sunday and Monday.
