Also, not a fan of the white gloves on the West uniforms. Looks weird.
you can hear he has like a decent english accent, yet announces some names with a heavy ass accent.

I love that the Montreal announcer tried to make Doan sound like a french name.

What a wicked line.... Vanek, Kovalchuk and Carter. Not bad company, Jeff.

Oh for God's sake... forget the vocal gymnastics and just sing the anthem.

Thank you.

Actually got cheers. But to be fair, they don't have much of a reason to boo it anymore with Bush gone.

It's impossible to hear our national anthem without it being freaking butchered. Just embarrassing.

That actually was one of the better US anthems ive heard by a black person who does alot of trills and jumps.

Alot of times they sound stupid, but that guy and Aretha Franklin make it sound good.

I'd be willing to do some very questionable deeds to get Vanek on the Flyers.

It's not the easiest of anthems to sing. I thought he did a decent job.

All the trills and etc are totally unnecessary IMO, our anthem rocks, don't need to change it.

I agree. It's not the easiest to sing and stay in the same key/octave, but it doesn't need all the crap.

That announcer makes every name sound French-Canadian. Goal by the West.
