They really need to put those two together in their marketing. I still love that commercial where a s*** load of room service food arrives at Crosby's hotel room and he turns and goes "Ovechkin!"

Was anyone else getting annoyed with the St Louis picture? We can't need to watch him talk while there's a game going on....

Juat saying.

I doubt it has any effect on him. It means nothing.

Looks like same old hank to me. If you're not being attentive, I'd say that any shot over 40mph could hurt. And I'm going to go out on a limb and say every shot is coming in a biiit faster than that, haha.

The key to not getting hurt is being flexible. Goalies that get hip and groin injuries usually have lazy stretch routines. I saw Hasek and the way he used to stretch on a special one day, and it's no wonder he lasted so long and didn't really suffer any tough injuries his entire career.

The way Thomas played last night and how he had that awkward play where everyone held their breath is a perfect example.

It made me lol when hank made the save of the night and as they were showing it dick, doc, whateevr just shut up and started talking about zack parise or soemthing after the replay was done.

I actually don't mind the guy, but he's been ****ing terrible. The only 2 names I can recall him mentioning so far this whole game is zack parise and kovalev. Pretty sure there's a ew more decent players on the ice.

There's just no defense in an all-star game. Holy one-timers and passes to and through the slot

He isn't bad when there aren't any devils involved, or for that matter any former devils that were good when they were on the devils. I think he does a good job on the NBC games.

Agreed, it gets to be a little much when there's actual play happening on the ice and he's still rambling about Kovalev and Parise. "Oh and Parise takes a huge drink of Gatorade! Amazing! Did you know his father, JP Parise, used to play hockey too? Talk about amazing, right? Right?"

If Doc put the effort he's been putting into promoting that Sports Soup show into the game, we'd have us some decent play by play.

Heard Iginla a few times in the first. not at all in the 2nd. Haven't heard Kovalchuk once. Vanek has been invisible. Same with Carter save one shot in the 1st. Haven't noticed Komisarek, Streit, or Kaberle. On the west, Weber, Campbell, Brown, and Modano.

lol, Weber and Brown both get mentions as I write this.

I like when they mic the goalies. CBC's got Luongo miced, really enjoyable.

I kinda want to see Tim Thomas get mad, throw his gloves and mask off and then proceed to challenge a player on the west to a on ice dance off. I don't know what's wrong with me but how funny would that be to see.
