Only in Montreal would Kovalev be up in a shootout before Ovechkin.

I'm glad the fraudulent captain who isn't even an all-star calibre player this year helped win the shootout and will probably be the MVP.

Shocking. I was going to bash him for celebrating too much for being a millionaire winning a car he doesn't need, but since it's the only trophy he'll be lifting this year - go right ahead and celebrate you lazy 30 point all-star.

I love the hate Kovalev gets. It's understandable, but still funny.

I caught the third +. I was hopin' Tim Thomas would snag MVP. He made some killer saves down the stretch.

Carter had no chemistry with Kovalchuk and Vanek. They're all goal scorers, not passers.

Unfortunate that Carter didn't get a goal, but a great game nonetheless! WOOOHOOO!!

It is pretty sad, though, watching how much fun all the skaters were having since the weekend started, and knowing that, after tonight, they'll all be "enemies" again Oh well. That's hockey.

wow i forgot the nhl 09 dynasty mode montreal canadians were taking on the west all stars today. shows how much i care about this farce. i bet kovalev had 45 minutes of ice time and the #2 goal scorer in the nhl got 1 shift.

as for lackluster flyer all stars, didnt gags have 2 goals and an assist in his 1st game i think in 2001 or 2002. id rather carts put on his show for philly, **** the asg

Carter actually had the most ice time among forwards which is weird because I hardly noticed him.

Me, too. Of course part of that is probably because I kept looking for #17, but when I would find it, it would have a name other than "CARTER" over it. So I didn't end up noticing him until the end of the 3rd Period. What was he? #7?

Ehh screw it, like someone said he was playing with two other goal scorers. He is second in the league to Ovechkin, I am not disappoint.
