Don't. Imagine you got a Theodore tattoo right after he won the Hart and the Vezina? Yeaahh...

But yeah nice tattoo Daniel. I've been thinking about getting a Habs-related tattoo as well and the "be yours to hold it high" quote is a nice touch as well. It probably wouldn't be as big as yours but at least you've given me some ideas

I wouldn't advice to use a current player, but a historical one can work, like Maurice, like Jean, like Guy, like others. Or if one day I have cancer, Saku will be in my thoughts all the time to fight like he did.

A tattoo needs to be personal and forever lasting. It's very hard, if not impossible to remove without leaving a mark. It should be considered as commitment, in my humble opinion.

But hototogisu, it's not a competition. A tattoo is personal. It shows the level of commitment you have toward that subject. I might be the first one to do that scroll, that strong message, I don't know, but I would be proud, frigging proud if it will motivate others to do something similar.

That's the whole point of that message. To be a good example, to stimulate others to follow on your footsteps.

Hahaha! You made me wonder for half a second, as I checked it numerous times. Pat Les Os, my tattoo artist, played with me the entire time, doing stuff like:

'Oh damn it..' then I would freak, wondering what he screwed up. He was just playing with me.

I believe the boys will like it more. But we shall see, especially this summer, at the pool/beach.

Thanks Doug. Yep, I'm a fanatic, I'm in love with the Montreal Canadiens. My longest relationship and it's still going strong. :-)

Habs10Habs: It took 6 hours, in one shot. At the end, after 4 hours, it was becoming fairly painful. The last hour was the worst. I was tired, cold, hungry, weaker and it was more difficult to tolerate the pain. Especially when he did the flames, on top of the shoulder, there's less meat/fat over there.

But, I'm already designing my 2nd tattoo. :-D
From experience, the red and the flames were a pain in the ass right?

Considering the size, the color and the details, it's probably about 300$ in Quebec on average, and about 450-550$ in BC and Ontario.

Yep, the red and the flames. But also the side of the scroll, right on the biceps. I was starting to be tired, cold, hungry, weaker.. But the red was rough mainly because after 5 hours on the chair, it gets to you. The last hour was painful.

Pat Les Os charges 80$ for the 1st hour, 60$ for the other hours. So, 6 hours is 380$.

I was thinking the same thing but then realized it was hidden, but still,

Everything is awesome except for the hands. The hands look a little like a troll's hands instead of human hands.Ah well!

Still cool Tat buddy......

I swear on my garden snake (yes, EXACTLY what you're thinking) that the day after Koivu hoists the cup with the Habs I'm tattooing that moment on my back

Heck, nothing's perfect. But I agree, it could be better. But I don't look at them much. :-)

Sorry for the tags, I just wanted to protect this picture.

I did the concept, the design and my tattoo artist, Pat Les Os (ta2.ca) drew it and did the job.

CTV News came and filmed when I was being tattoo'd last thursday. It will be shown on CTV News in a week or so.

lol, ya those are harsh as well, but you're lucky it's pretty wide cuz it's easier to fill in and takes less details, thus less time (pain).

Not bad really. I got mine done in BC by a Quebecer and he was charging 120$/hr, luckily he's fast as hell and he cost me about 300$.

LOL, okay on your back, I thought you were going to say that you will get Saku hoisting the cup tatooed on your garden snake.
