Yes he actually rushed a lot luckily Markov let him have a lot of fun. They are a great pair and work together well.

Another highlight was Markov's spin-o-rama right after Savard was introduced.

I enjoyed the change of pace by cheering for the Habs players and I think it was an obvious choice to pick Kovalev, with Thomas being a close 2nd.

Bravo on the outcome guys. (Bad luck on Sunday though!)

as much as i HATE the bruins .. hate em sooooo much ! .
But the charity raising that Chara did and how he held up in the interviews he is realy a stand up guy . and Thomas as well ... still dont like Savard at all but these 2 bruins were great. For one day no one had a B or a C on there chest and they just played good hockey together

Yeah, Chara has always been a good guy off the ice. I'm glad he won the competition, and it worked out for his charity. Thomas has always been a gregarious guy as well. Seems like a happy-go-lucky type character, who has had the long path to the NHL. Well done to him for playing so well this year. He's sort of a funny guy too. Remember after Koivu scored on him in a shootout last year? Thomas essentially did a cartwheel, looked clumsy, and skated off the ice! It was a pretty funny sight, and I bet Thomas had a chuckle about it.

You think that's annoying - try watching the highlights on NHL.com and hearing it 22 times in about 5 minutes.

It's the normal horn, it's just drowned out when the Habs score. I think it's one of the better ones in the league, but I agree that it's annoying to hear it like we did tonight.

“This was unbelievable,” Ovechkin said. “I wish every All-Star Game was going to be here.”

Add Kovalchuk to that list .. on the NHL Network pre-game show he said he was happy the All-Star was being held in a real hockey city.

Seeing as last season it was in Atlanta, where he plays, that was a rather bold statement.

Speaking of goal horns, the song they played after a goal was scored, not the woo-hoo one the other one that's just music....who's goal song is that? Every time I heard it I was reminded of an away game but I can't figure out which team, Boston maybe?

They played 'Bro Hymn' a lot, which both the Ducks and Flyers use.

Hmm, it wasn't that one, it was more...techno-ish. It didn't have words either. It's a pretty common hockey rink song but it sticks out in my head because the team that uses it is one that I don't like because I cringe whenever I hear it

After seeing him at the asg, I like him more then ever now. Just seeing how enthusiastic he was, always had a huge smile on his face. He just looked so grateful to be there and took advantage every minute of it.

That's the one! I googled it and it is Boston that uses it and that's why I cringe when I hear it! Thanks!
