How can you hate guys like Marc Savard, Tim Thomas, Zdeno Chara, David Krejci, Denis Wideman, Phil Kessel and Patrice Bergeron ?!

I don't like their team as a whole just because it's Boston, but I do like their players individually.

man, can't we just go back to hating ?
its so much more fun.

well at least Lucic wasn't there and we can still hate him.
Good thing next Bruin game is this Sunday - so it won't take long for this Lovefest to end!

He was basically fired for playing Huet over Theodore...

We know how that turned out.

I like Dennis Wideman

Funny but when Julien was here I never liked the guy. Didn't hate him either. He just seemed ineffectual at the time.

As for the rest of the Bruins . . . I hope they lead happy and productive lives outside the NHL.

As Human beings, Claude Julien and Zdeno Chara are very nice people and you can't hate them.

But when Boston v Montréal comes over, it's boo time.

Chara got a pretty nice ovation when he broke Iafrate's record. But next time we face the Bruins, he'll be booed all the same, and I'll boo my little heart out.

I think the vast majority of fans make the distinction of the human and the member of the bruins. It's a bit like in wrestling. You're going to boo the heel, but you know he's not really like that in real life.

Bruins and Leafs are top heels to Habs fan. And that's how it should be.

Hate is a strong word. I like Tim, I like Claude. I even like Zdeno too. I hate losing to Boston.. So when these guys play for Boston, I don't cheer for them. When they play for the team I root for, I can like them just as much as I liked any Hab who deserved being liked. Thomas is a classy guy. So is Julien. No reason to hate them because they play for a team you want to lose...

The guy who broke into my car and stoll my radio, him I hate!

How can you not cheer for Tim Thomas. The guy is practically a Rocky type story of hockey perserverance..........

1997-98 HIFK Helsinki FNL
1997-98 Birmingham Bulls ECHL
1997-98 Houston Aeros IHL
1998-99 Hamilton Bulldogs AHL
1998-99 HIFK Helsinki FNL
1999-00 Detroit Vipers IHL
2000-01 AIK Solna SEL
2001-02 Karpat FNL
2002-03 Providence Bruins AHL
2002-03 Boston Bruins NHL
2003-04 Providence Bruins AHL
2004-05 Jokerit Helsinki FNL
2005-06 Providence Bruins AHL
2005-06 Boston Bruins NHL
2006-07 Boston Bruins NHL
2007-08 Boston Bruins NHL
2008-09 Boston Bruins NHL

..... after a half dozen or so years of bouncing around the minors and over in Europe he finally got his chance and has made the best of it. At the end of the All-Stars game, no player had a bigger smile than he did.

All that, and I remember him as a former member of the Bulldogs .

I don't think there's 1 player I hate in the league..
Qc and Mtl were always my team, but Raymond Bourque was my all time best D.

I hate teams and fans of those teams, but not the players..

I was going to say Avery, but he's no longer in the league.

he never had it easy... but I didnt think for a moment that it was that bad....hehe

still, i have a feeling that he's one or two loosing streaks away from a gerber. So far so good for him, but I wouldn't be able to have faith in this guy for a playoff run.

I hate the Bruins. I don't hate Chara or Savard or Thomas or Julien. I curse them for being good on the Bruins, a fun kinda 'hate'.

But then there's Lucic. I don't like him. I doubt I'd think much of him even if he was on another team.

You would worship a player doing what he does with the Habs (wrestling moves aside). My only beef is that he is burning himself too fast. The way he plays, the lenght of his NHL career looks a bit questionable. He's bound to make the injury list quite often.

I have to disagree with you on this one...

What he did last year against the habs (goon it up the game when losing) is not really classy...

So is giving an underserved bad rep to AKost around the league...

So I can't say I like Julien, but I hate the fact that he isn't our coach anymore, because I respect his talent...

Thomas is an exciting goalie to watch but I'm neutral toward him, I don't particulary like him, but I don't dislike him either...

I don't really like Savard as a player, espacially because he's a little hab killer...

As for Chara, I always liked him. He's a unique player in this league, extremely clean player giving his size and seems to be a class act all the way...

I wish he was a hab, sadly he isn't and the way he's been playing against us this year, it's about time Carbonneau finds a way to get him away from Kovalev and the other scorers on this team...

There are lots of Bruins I like and would love to have as players;

Sturm, Savard, Wideman, Ryder, Lucic (I love to hate him right now, but on our team, I'd love him).. I do hate Chara though lol

I don't hate the Bruins. It's just a team like the habs trying to win.

Bruins fans and Habs fan are passionate and we have a long rivality.
Seriously the only reason i want the habs winning = i don't want a flood of big head bruins fans bragging about their team lol. That probably the same reason for them.

I can probably be sure of one thing....if Carbo would have been given a physical team.....you would've seen us gooning up more than once.

As far as AKost rep, well let's be honest and acknowledge that AKost when he hits, most of his hits are borderline legal. And I'm pretty sure he has that reputation already and not solely coming from Boston. Having said that, who cares about the reputation he has, in reality it could work to our advantage. Players know now that AKost might hit them pretty solid in the corners making them hurry their play, causing turnovers. So give him that rep, AKost is a nutcase who can hurt you badly!!!! Remember that!!!
