O'byrne needs to stop eating the puck when he is checked. It frequently leads to a turnover and at the very least allows the opponent to hem us in our zone. O'b needs to get rid of the puck when he senses pressure.

It was very long !
Almost an hour.

A lot of stoppages , a penalty shot, some penalties and some problems with the timer.

I think that puck was deflected by a D before it got to Lang making his shot more difficult.

Yep - sure miss the decent PP. You could almost always count on a PP goal - usually a spectacular one. Now they sometimes appear to be passing the puck around just for the sake of passing the puck - no apparent plan at all.

Habs and Lightning meet the stooges Larry Moe Curly and Shremp

The officiating is a joke tonight, I guess as long as it isn't all one sided cough Carolina cough it will even out.

FWIW, Lawton just said that there is no way they are trading Vinny.

But GM's have said that before...

Oh I don't know, Lapierre tripped on the puck.

Lawton has a reputation of being somewhat of a liar

20-7 the shots after 1?! Why does our offense blow vs. Tampa? Lost 3-1, won 2-1 in a SO and now a first period where we deserved 3 or 4 by all rights, and didn't get there... despite golden chances and three straight PPs.
