It takes a few games to break new equipment in + recover from an injury fully.

No no....it's the pads or this is a fake Carey Price and the real one is injured.

I think he should go with pads that have a net pattern (like the back of the net). In fact, make the blocker, glove even the stick in net pattern. That way the shooter thinks he's shooting at a wide open net. Chameleon pads...that's the answer!

White is better because the players can't see where he is (white pads + white ice + white net)..

Agreed. Besides, like half the goals scored on him since he came back have been either deflected by one of our players or some strange bounce of an opponent.

I agree.

Fleury, went in to consult a Sports Psychologist when he had his Yellow pads. He was curious as to why he was being scored on so many times, and to the guy's credit hes not half bad. The Psychologist said the color of the pads made it easier for the players to analyze the holes, and where to score quicker, which is why he was letting in more goals. When Fleury made the switch to White it made a huge difference in his play, notice in the playoffs his performance.

I think we have the same dilemma here with Price.

Pads do not make a goalie, many goalies have coloured pads in the NHL and are great, Fleury's just soft mentally, Price's opposite, which is why he needed to go get 'help' and the 'expert' told him white pads would save him.

Please, ****, the whole colour thing is overrated really, look at Fleury this year, he's been brutal with his all white pads.

He looks so small in those, he looks like Huet.

The whites are amazing, the browns too.

Bottom line Carey need to win some games ASAP.

Huet did pretty damn good here with similar looking pads as Carey's new ones. I guess Huet was simply a better goalie then, he would have had like a .947 sv% if he used white pads while he was here.
