Shaw HD cable help

I live in the Vancouver area, and want to upgrade from standard non-digital shaw cable, to Shaw HD. The only catch is, I am getting my cable tv from the landlord above (I am in a basement suite).

What I want to know is, will I be able to just buy the Shaw HDPVR box from future shop and then get the landlord to call it in with Shaw and upgrade to the shaw HD cable package, and that will be all that's required? The landlord doesn't have an HD-capable tv, and I'm wondering if he will need to buy a digital terminal box too? And if so, will a digital terminal box be needed for ALL tv's in the house? I basically don't want to disturb the landlord's set-up.

Hopefully someone out there can shed some light on it for me. Thanks!

It will just be added on your landlords bill, so just pay him the extra.

I have a HD box in the living room and just use regular analog on a 13" tv in my bedroom so everything should be fine.

edit: and remember when you move out get the landlord to call shaw and transfer the box to you since you paid for it. The serial number will be registered to whoever gets the bill.
