Yeah! they work hard, they work well, but if they're the only line doing so... what's the point of keeping them together... it's not like we're going to win much game with only one line working well anyway...
Wouldn't it be better to tweak the other 3 lines and leave the one that actually works alone for the time being? The 4th line as been doing their job quite well lately..It's just that the guys getting paid the big dollars to produce the goals are playing like they don't care.Maybe all those Vinny trade rumors to MTL are affecting some of these guys play..Who knows?

yes they are... but what's the point of keeping them together... it doesnt help if they're the only one doing well (if they were scoring every game maybe, but that's not the case)... and once you tried Lang (or Koivu) with all the other wingers but them, what else there is to do... you know...

and you don't have to send them all on different lines... you could do Lapierre-Latendresse- other player... and use Kostopoulos on another line... or Lapierre/Kostopoulos + other player and send Latendresse on another line...

We aren't a playoff contender

We're just a middle pack playoff team

We don't have toughness

Typical

For all those who have selective memory, let me remind you all that the Habs had great games this season against both great and tough teams. The season is NOT an indicator of the playoffs. The Habs might spend the entire season trying to find their jive, and eventually get there when playoff time comes. The best example of this is last season's Flyers.

Just be patient and don't jump off the bandwagon just yet. 3 wins in a row and people will have totally different reactions.

This team is so frsutrating to watch. They played like a top NHL team in the first totally owning Tampa even after giving up an unlucky goal. They could have put the other team away in the first but they didnt. Realizing the luck they have to come out of the first only trailling by one, Tampa comes out with life in the second, the Habs crumble.

You always fear that this team cannot always respond to adversity. That scares me. They dont lack physical toughness but rather mental toughness. Habs are the type of team that has to be kept on their toes all the time because they might fall asleep and go through the motions at anytime. That is very hard and exhausting for a coach.
