I don't think this game was boring because of the Sharks play. Vancouver started trapping midway through the first and by the 3rd period it had gotten ridiculous. Whenever Vancouver got the puck they would just dump it in the zone and MAYBE send 1 guy in the o-zone if at all.

In all honesty I didn't think that the Sharks sucked this game. Nothing was going their way at all.

The score of the game indicates a goalie duel but this game was far from that.

Vancouver doesn't have an obligation to play entertaining hockey, they have an obligation to their fans to try and win. And they almost did. its up to the Sharks to adjust and figure out a way to beat the trap cause if the trap beats you, using the "it was boring" argument won't get the results reversed.

Correct, and really, the Sharks did a very good job, it may have seemed boring, but they did actually get plenty of scoring chances. Not many point blank ones, bu they were getting shots through from the point, and the rebounds weren't bouncing their way, and Vancouver did a great job tying up players in front as well. Luongo was very sharp obviously, and that didn't help.

It may not have been a back and forth affair like against Detroit, but to me it was just as entertaining to see SJ battle through this game. Even if they had lost, it would have been a character builder.

Looks like somebody already beat me to the punch, but for future considerations I'll post this anyways.

I figured out a way to transfer HD video from my directv box to my PC using DirecTV2PC, so as long as I remember to record the game, I can edit and upload highlights to Youtube from now on.

If anyone else wants to try it go here:

http://www.directv.com/directv2pc

You need a newer DirecTV DVR box (The black colored ones)
and you need to have it hooked up to a network (wireless or wired)

to record the stream I used fraps, but i'm pretty sure there are other good alternatives out there.

I was playing around with it tonight and this is what I got:

I'm pretty sure once I'm able to do an HD recording that I shouldnt have a problem uploading it in HD as well.

I like how they state that Pavelski and Clowe "confronted" poor little D. Sedin, without mentioning that Daniel went out of his way to put a shoulder into the chest of Clowe to start the whole thing.

Also I didn't see Pavelski spear anybody, but I supose the camera could have missed it.

O'Brien might want to tell his mate not to run into nabby or anyone else on his way off the ice
