They are much better in person on players than any video or picture I've seen...

And that's why you don't play all star games.

Too bad about Danny, hopefully he will be ok and luckily its the Av and not a team like Calgary or Detroit.

I was wondering my Moore was being called up if Blake was fine to play.

Yes, lets send our BEST players to a meaningless game where they only play at 50%, and have them injured so they're not ready for the games that matter. **** the ASG. Just have a damn skills competition.

Sheesh. We won the game with Boyle out, no need to fret. I didn't panic after hearing that announced at the start of the game (had just gotten home from a road trip and internet connection was dead).

Moore was probably called up in case Blake was unable to go. And they may have kept him around in case Blake found that the mask wasn't working as well as he thought it would.

If Moore is going to get a game, tonight's against Phoenix would probably a good team to try him on. They like to play physical against the Sharks, and they aren't quite the threat to the Sharks standing in the West as Detroit or Calgary or similar teams.

I would hope they give him a shot tonight, and see how things work out.

Nice highlight video of Moore. Was that Jim Fahey that he hit into the penalty box near the beginning?

Anyway, I also hope that Moore gets the nod tonight in Phoenix just so he can have a taste of NHL action before getting sent down. I think that practicing with the team is great, but getting in for a game or two is even better for a players development so they can see firsthand what they need to work on back in the AHL. Does anyone know if Moore has any type of history with injuries? He seems like a very physical player despite having just average size.

Moore was sent back to Worcester this morning. Too bad he didn't see any playing time, would have been interesting to see what he had to offer.
