I really thought Parros would end up a Leaf next year. Good for the Ducks.

Quite right my good sir and here is the reasoning:
1 - Burke hates 2nd round picks
2 - The 2nd round pick is the biggest commmodity known here on HF

You have to be kidding. Why would you lock up a player to a three year deal with no talent (all be it he can throw'em), but with zero goal scoring, defensive or skating ability. Fighting will never leave the game of hockey but the role of the enforcers is quickly becoming extinct.... or at least it should be.

Have you seen a Ducks game this season? Parros has improved a lot, and is more than just a fighter...

Not bad. He is a good guy, a good teammate and well liked in the community.
I would think with his Princeton degree, this might his last contract.
