Guitar Hero: Metallica track listings released

http://metallica.com/index.asp?item=601837

Quote:
So without further ado, here are the songs on the game . . . both from us and from some of the bands we admire and even call friends:

Metallica Tracks:
All Nightmare Long
Battery
Creeping Death
Disposable Heroes
Dyers Eve
Enter Sandman
Fade To Black
Fight Fire With Fire
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Frantic
Fuel
Hit The Lights
King Nothing
Master of Puppets
Mercyful Fate (Medley)
No Leaf Clover
Nothing Else Matters
One
Orion
Sad But True
Seek And Destroy
The Memory Remains
The Shortest Straw
The Thing That Should Not Be
The Unforgiven
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
Wherever I May Roam
Whiplash

If you downloaded the "Death Magnetic" album for Xbox and PS3, those ten songs will play in their entirety in the full game mode. PS2 and Wii versions (coming in the Spring, most likely in early May) will include "Broken Beat & Scarred," "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse" since they are not compatible with the Death Magnetic downloadable content.

Other Artists
Alice In Chains - No Excuses
Bob Seger - Turn The Page
Corrosion of Conformity - Albatross
Diamond Head - Am I Evil?
Foo Fighters - Stacked Actors
Judas Priest - Hell Bent For Leather
Kyuss - Demon Cleaner
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Tuesdays Gone
Machine Head - Beautiful Mourning
Mastodon - Blood And Thunder
Mercyful Fate - Evil
Michael Schenker Group - Armed and Ready
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
Queen - Stone Cold Crazy
Samhain - Mother of Mercy
Slayer - War Ensemble
Social Distortion - Mommy's Little Monster
Suicidal Tendencies - War Inside My Head
System of a Down - Toxicity
The Sword - Black River
Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back in Town

Let the Game bashing/flame fest begin......now!

No Damage Inc. makes me cry inside.

Still buying it though. The features they're adding sound great.

The game could be Re-Load in it's entirety plus an Avril Lavigne album and I'd still get it just because of Demon Cleaner.

Damn, no Cyanide or Judas Kiss. Guess I'll have to buy the album of XBL. Damn you intelligent marketing!

It's too bad that Metallica decided to go with GH and not Rock Band. GH managed to make Hot for Teacher sound like ****. I'll still get the game in hopes of it sounding better than GH3/GH4.

Really? I heard the GH version of Death Magnetic sounds much better than the album version.

Probably the best one since GH 2. Only "bad" song is Ace of Spades and that's only because it's been on 3-4 other games. Mastodon/Machine Head/Lynyrd skynyrd/Judas Priest/AIC/Queen/The Sword/Diamond Head and 20+ Metallica songs. Terrible?

The songs on GH don't sound as loud/clear as they do on Rock Band. The notes are also a little off.

My one and only problem is... I HATE the quick up and down strumming that permeates through Metallica GH/RB tunes. I suck at it.

No expert for me...

I've always been somewhat of a Metallica hater, but that's neither here nor there. I just want to say the lineup of "guest" bands is nothing short of amazing, but it sucks that they only have one song each.

Actually I guess what I really want is a Kyuss track pack when it comes down to it.

Let me play Gardenia!

Here, you watch the song played in the game (you can't play in this mode) while facts about the band, song and anything else associated with the track pop up on the screen. If you're thinking this sounds like VH1's Pop-Up Video, then you already know exactly what the expect.

In addition to this, all of the Metallica tracks in the game will include some sort of video component. This ranges from well-produced stuff down to handycam footage shot by some fans in a 200-person club with the band playing cranked up to 11. Very cool stuff. You'll also find tons of images, lyric sheets, posters, gig notes and pretty much anything else you can think of. If it can be scanned or photographed, you'll probably find some form of it here. Of course, you'll also find behind-the-scenes footage and other making-of stuff tossed into the mix. In other words, it doesn't look like we'll be running into a shortage of content with this one."

Much better than whatever was on the GH: Aerosmith disc.

It does. Something happened in the production/mastering phase of this release which makes the CD sound like **** when you crank it. Search YouTube. There's tons of examples of the GH version. Some even compare/contrast the two.

I didn't even like music before I heard Master of Puppets, so I can't wait for this to release.

Glad to see Battery make it, though I've been itching to play Call of Ktulu forever.

So nothing added to the gameplay itself? Who cares...

Well, they added Expert + mode which adds a mega-ton of bass notes to the drums, you'll need to buy an extra pedal for this.
Also they have the music creator thing with Metallica sounds added it for quicker song making I guess.
