I want to hear our optimists here (and you know who I'm referring to) to come out and reassure us that games aren't important until February/March/April/golfing season.

Detroit was 4-10 last year in February.

They had a parade.

Relax. A 4 game slump around the all-star break means nothing.

Yes...I'm a Sens fan...but the Habs aren't going anywhere this year. It's too bad. I would have liked to see them win the cup this year for the 100.

The freaking cup is probably going out west again...*sigh*

That is depressing. What pisses me off the most is that not only are we losing, but we are losing 5-1 or 5-2. Ugh.

You can't be ****ing serious?!

Price made some good saves when it was 3-1 but he was ****ing horrible the rest of the night, seriously, there was no bright spot tonight, Price as the rest of the team was abysmal.

I know there are a bunch of guys that say we are exaggerating. Making a bigger deal than we should, but I don't think so. Even when this team is winning, they aren't doing the things that win games in the playoffs. The Habs are beat to the puck in front of the net like 99% of the time. I get so frustrated watching them control the puck behind the net only to give it away the second they try to send it out front. OVER and OVER and OVER again.

Also, on a side note, I'm sick of seeing Brisebois out there. He does way more harm than good. I accept his role and value as a depth 7th defenseman, but he just can't be out there every night anymore.

2005-06 all over again somehow, or if worse comes to worse 06-07 (flu bug was the excuse). What's the point in drafting well if your young guys just fall into the trap of being soft, lazy and chicken **** after their 2nd year? I watched Calgary sleepwalk through 2 periods, then tear it up in the 3rd yesterday. They skated hard, threw the body, drove the net, played aggressive. This team is not capable of that even on their best days, which is when they rely on their talent alone. Since the Washington win, it's been a horrible display and it seems each game is worse than the last, literally.

If they can't figure things out on the weekend, the fans will go nuts. Please don't let the ASG weekend be the peak of the centennial year. Just like these Habs to ruin a good thing. Habs post-1993 are just another team and if you wipe out the previous 87 years to that, it's like the Canucks or some other hapless franchise. The future looks good, but I've been saying that for years. When do we ever get a team like Boston? Like San Jose? Detroit? Gainey seems to be a good enough GM to get the team to respectability but remember, this team hasn't made 3 straight playoffs since 96-98.

Facking Garbage! We haven't just been losing lately, we've been getting blown out. Looking around at the other teams in the East, we're really looking like a bottom feeder. Not looking good....

Detroit was missing like their entire top 3 on defence during that stretch.

There is no excuse like that for this team.

I blame 90% of the team. There are few guys that are working. Lappy, Markov, and Gorges come to mind. The rest? meh.

Price was good after that as well. It's not his fault the team in front of him gave him no support (breakaways, 2 on 1's).

And they were lucky to have a good record in October.

Fact is they are not impressive this year.
