Carbo, just leave the lines alone!
Every game with the line juggling - how are you to ever get any chemistry going for anyone?
Koivu and Higgins are just getting back from injuries - its going to take them a couple of games - so stop panicking and just let them play.
The main thing that needs to be done for next game is get O'Bryne back in there. He tore up Hamilton when he went down there - and he has to get a solid chance now.
At least for Brisebois - I don't think I can watch one more play where a forward gets behind Brisebois - and hes trying to catch up!
Patches has been playing well, Andrei was on fire before the break, Plekanec works hard but needs his confiedence back, what better way than to put him with 2 of our best shooters
Higgins - Lapierre - Sergei
2 hard workers for the lazy Sergei...their hard work can create oppurtunites and space for Sergei to be creative
Latendresse - Koivu - Kovalev
Koivu sets up, Kovalev shoots (hits post), Latendresse picks up the garbage
Higgins - Lang - D'Agostini
2 young speedsters for a slow veteran...everyone can score on this line
SK74 - Koivu - Dags
Lats - Laps - Patches
Higs - Plek - Ak46
Kosto - Lang - Kovalev
I'm smarter than Carbo
Patches was playing well with Kovy. One of our few wingers that can, because he grew up admiring Kovy and because of this Kovy likes to play with Patches. The problem I was seeing was Plekanec's floating. Patches and Kovy need a center not a flotation device. Why not try Lappy between the two.
Lats Koivu A Kost.
Patches Lappy Kovalev >> Just to add Kovy likes to be a go to guy and carry the play both Lappy and Max are grinders
D'ago Lang Begin
Higgins Pleks Kosto sit SK he needs time to think.

would do u guys think?
Just a couple problems. I dont think you can put Higgins on Two lines, he will get a little tired.
From what i have seen Koivu and Kovalev just don't play well together.
And Patches is more of a set up man that a great shooter, i feel that Higgins, Dago and Laps are better shooters than Patches.
But i see where you are going with those lines and i like the higgins, Laps, and SKost line, shows potential.
One line I would love Carbo to try is a line that was on absolute fire before all the injuries piled up. Kostitsyn-Koivu-D'agostini was ripping it up. Too bad Carbo's too clueless to try this again
Not evident to do when you have vets like Koivu, Kovalev, Lang, Hamrlik on your team.. You dont wanna burn your vets..
Cool, so we'll continue to play like floating pansies in the wind. I wouldn't wanna burn them out and have them lose that energy that they bring to the rink every night, consistently for 60 minutes.

Its a long season, there is no reason to panic yet, we are still in pretty good posture..
Carey Price will get the start Saturday vs. the Kings but head coach Guy Carbonneau is undecided about the day after against the Bruins. Sergei Kostitsyn may be scratched Saturday vs. Kings. - TSN
