Do you have a magic ball?

You have no idea if those two players would have chemistry. If you can somehow magically come to that conclusion, you shouldn't be posting on HF. You should be working for a team telling GM's which players will have chemistry with eachother.

Everything you can say about Kovalchuk can be said about Hoss.
And Kovalchuk does almost everything better. Better scorer, more physical player, more aggressive, hell of a leader. Does what it takes to win. If you have any doubt about his intangibles watch some tapes from Russia's last year championship run. He was out there backchecking like crazy, blocking shots and getting in everyone's face while just about everyone else was playing a one-way offensive game.

Oh, and it might not be all about goals, but the team with the most goals scored usually wins. So, the second best sniper in the NHL paired with one of the best playmaking centers would probably be a good thing. Kovalchuk has had 2 forty AND 2 fifty goal seasons despite being 5 years younger. Hossa never had a 50 goal season let alone 2.

Just because Crosby and Hossa clicked does not mean Kovalchuk and Malkin won't click even better. Hossa had the benefit of playing for a decent Senators club for half his career while Kovalchuk was stuck in ****lanta the entire time, usually centered by nobodies and still managing to outshine almost everyone else in the league.

As for most complete... there's this guy known as Zetterberg out there. This other guy known as Ovechkin too.
