Boyle will miss Saturday's game. Mitchell should be back on skates within a week.

In fact this Boyle being out will have a huge impact on tomorrow's game. Boyle uses the ice so much and does his thang through the ice, using all that wide space. Campbell can do that too, but not as good as Boyle. Especially on the PP Boyle has been better. But Chicago now has an advantage controlling that ice. Boyle is really good using all that space out there...... I didn't even understand why great he is doing that, until I saw him play for us, every night. So let's see. I'm thinkin the Hawks might win this one. They have lost a lot of games and are going to be ready like some young guerilla maabs.

no need to rush Boyle back at all. Give him a couple weeks off. Hell, give him a month off. We don't need to rush anyone back from any injury.

Yeah of course! Fo sho! We better keep him away from these games! We need him in the playoffs, not now! You are exactly right there sir.

I am scared of both of your statements.

Seriously, I want Boyle. Let's just hope Campbell will do wanna be spinoramas at his own net, create turnovers and BAM, a goal!

I think it's smart to rest Boyle. The D these past 2 games has been fine (or more than fine), it helps instill confidence in the rest of the team that they can win w/o Boyle and he gets healthier.

Sharks have a slightly kinda sorta comfortable lead right now, so yeah it wouldn't hurt to rest Boyle, but I wouldn't give him more than one "extra" game of heal time. He is the PP.

Thats great news regarding Mitchell. I really can't wait to see what this team can do with him on the team. I know our Short handed goals will jump up.

Mitchell.

We've had two great games without Boyle. I see no reason that the Sharks can't continue to play solidly against Chicago.

I miss Boyle because he is one of the most entertaining d-men in the league to watch, but at the same time this is a good thing for the organization. Semenov and Joslin get quality minutes, and the team learns to play without a player who is critical to the success so far. Chicago will be an excellent test. I think this is the first time the Sharks have played a defense better than theirs this year.

Also, I think the fact that Semenov has completely stepped up his game over the last week or so is huge!

I mean, normally, I don't think there would be as many of us here saying we were fine with Boyle taking as much time as needed (alright, I understand that we DO have a pretty large lead in the division/conference). But Semenov has played well the past few games, and that I think makes it easier that Boyle is taking time off.

I only want Boyle to come back when he is healthy, but I was really looking forward to seeing him play tomorrow night since I'm going to the game. I'm crushed.
