SON OF A *****!!!! Like I needed yet ANTOHER freaking reason to hate the Sixers, for a second night in a row CSN is broadcasting the retarded basketball game instead of the hockey game. WTF, I'd at least think they'd be kind enough to do one team one night and the other the next but NOOOOO, they decide to broadcast the worst team in all of Philadelphia sports at the moment. The Sixers are a joke and yet Snider still insists on broadcasting their games over the Flyers. I just don't get it, this is killing me.

Niitty's back in net tonight.

Quote:
We caught up with John Stevens after the team meeting, where he said that goaltender Antero Niittymaki will start in net tonight.

"I thought he played well last night and got better as the game wore on, and won us a big game," explained the head coach. "We're goig to put him back in the net and hopefully keep both of our goalies active as we move along."

Counting the game AO is currently playing, Carter is 1 goal behind with 2 games to play in hand.

The TV deals are signed way a head of time. If the Sixers didnt have it in writing they would not be on over the Flyers. If both teams play at the same time, the home team is on CSN.

Stream for later:
http://atdhe.net/live-tv-2.php?i=738

Luckily the game only starts at 2:30 AM for me, so I'll be able to grab some sleep before it and don't have to only get in at 6:00 AM like yesterday.

That is my biggest pet peeve with Stevens. He has absolutely no clue how to manage goalies. We also had a back-to-back with Tampa and Toronto with travel in between and he had Biron start both games.

Then it's time to get rid of basketball in Philadelphia, hell the Sixers don't matter anyways. All we need are the Phillies in spring and summer, Eagles in fall and winter, and Flyers in winter and spring, to hell with basketball and the Sixers. Hell if you want basketball just was the good local college teams, you get better games anyways.

I wonder if Biron has a tough of the flu that's been running through the team as of late. That would make a very good case for Nitty to play back to back nights.

God damn do I agree with you. I think the Sixers HAD great tradition, now I cant bring myself to care even a little, and Im pretty sure alot of people feel that way.

If all we had were Phils Eagles and Flyers, I would be pretty happy.

Denis Gauthier (ejected) just got a 5-minute elbowing major and off the faceoff Montreal scored.
