Well-deserved, he's had a very solid rookie season thus far.

Does he get in if he gets his hat trick somewhere other than Toronto? We may never know.

I personally think he's been great, but I noticed when they named the starting lineups that the youngstars are really really good this year. And Brassard is out too. There's a really good crop of rookies this year compared to a year or two back.

Does Brunnstrom make it if he plays good minutes all season and isn't injured or healthy scratched?

I doubt it, with the way Steve Mason and Bobby Ryan are playing he's an afterthought.

I think Brunnstrom makes it if he's not injured.

Notice something wrong?

That's right, Neal is the only rookie failing to wear dress shoes to the occasion. That is no way to accept a plaque.

Sean Avery's toxic influence will continue to be felt for years to come.

Nah, I'm only serious when I talk about Turco.

How about Neal being the only guy to get hit last night? What did he do to deserve such violent treatment?

Robidas needs his own super skills category. Each All-Star could stand in the corner while Georges Laraque or someone takes a run at them. The winner is the guy who gets up after each round.

I noticed that too, it seemed as though Neal was the only player on the ice able to ruffle some feathers. Cogliano kept grabbing on to him when they were on the ice together. Quite humorous. Wonder if he has been taking some lessons from Otter?

He just seemed to use his body to protect the puck more than the other guys out there. Didn't seem like most other guys are power forward-esque. Maybe it's the only way Neal can play, lol.

Yea, it seemed like that too. Although it did seem that once Wheeler got the puck he would get blinders and do nothing but go for the goal, whether it was viable or not, lol.

I think Wheeler benefited a lot from Neals puck pursuit, he seemed to be trying a lot harder than the other guys and I agree that that is probably the only way he knows how to play. I do wish Wheeler knew how to pass so James could have got a goal though.

However, think of how nice it would be to have Neal and Wheeler on the same line the whole season. That would be a very aggressive puck pursuit line with very capable finishers. I was curious when Wheeler signed with the Bruins how hard, if at all, Dallas tried to pursue him. Though I seem to remember one of the reasons Wheeler signed with the Bruins was because he was already friends with some of the players (Kessel I think)?

Wheeler made it clear he was going to sign in the Eastern Conference. I don't think they ever had a chance.

Ah, thought I read something that essentially took the Stars out of the running, couldn't remember though. And that would definitely take them out of the running.

Hey guys, could I get some insight on Neal? Such as what's his role going to be next year? How does he look right now (does it look like he's going to be a good top 6 power forward or a very good 3rd line checker)? Where does he fit on the depth chart?

Thanks in advance!

He's a top 6 power forward. Behind Morrow on the depth chart obviously. Right now, Neal is the Stars' best LW.
(Eriksson plays RW despite what he's listed at)

I am guessing next year second line

I think a good line up would be
Neal Richards Eriksson
