not a thread to troll, but seriously. i'm reading the main boards and many of their posts in our post game threads and wondering what the hell their problem is? their franchise has won basically nothing in 75 years. we've owned them for as long, and they not only take comfort in habs injuries but talk like the bruins are the best team to ever skate on ice. we're not even 50 games into the season. i honestly pray we play them in the first round. i'd love to finish 8th and watch them sweat.

it's unbelievable how classless they are. every team has it's fanatics within their fan base, but this group is the sorest bunch of winners ever. congrats on their year, but wow...

Many of them were abused as children.

Same reason a lot of Habs' fans are obnoxious.

There's a lot of them.

I lay the blame on them being brainwashed by Jack Edwards. Okay now lock it

Hey...but they clap for our national anthem!! That makes them super classy.

Seriously, it's the Bruins, what do you want? We have owned them for how many years? We have jack@ss fans as well...it goes both ways...but at least we have the CUPS to back it up. They may have had Bobby Orr but when you look up in the rafters...ya that's a lot of cups up there.

It's a fun rivalry, I would love to play them in the playoffs and knock them out again. I loved it when Theo knocked them out when the Ruins were first place....could happen again with the way the Habs are playing now (1st vs 8th)...you never know.

It's not really that they're annoying. It's just that the Bruins are owning the Canadiens this year so it's only natural for a fan of the team getting owned to feel like the other fans are obnoxious. I felt the same way last year when the Canadiens owned the Bruins all season long and in the playoffs. I feel that way about Washington fans this year too, Just because they beat the Bruins they have some sort of cockyness to them.

You wanna talk obnoxious? How about a Habs fan dropping me a PM saying that my dog, whom I had to put down on Friday, is apparrently ugly and a bunch of expletive words and is rotting with the worms right now.

If I was allowed to post the PM I would, but I can't so a paraphrase is good enough.

I know Hab fans don't think those kinds of things, but, as with Bruins fans, there are some people who just take things to all time lows.

I have no problem with the Habs fan base itself, like other fans should have no problem with the Bruins fan base. People need to remember that it's only select few people that start problems and some others join in. Don't mistake a few people for an entire fan base.

If I did that, the entire Habs fan base would be dog haters who are glad that Bruins fans dogs are in the ground and being eaten by worms.

when you finish playing psychologist and hall monitor, you'll notice I specifically point out the general meanness of the posts. there's gamesmanship and then there's the garbage that borders on racism (the constant anti-french slurs) and the hope for injuries.

Almost every Bruins fan constantly calls Habs fans classless. Talk about generalizing.

Relax dude. I'm just pointing out that a thread like this will just be invaded by Bruins fan.. and it's not like they gonna agree with you..

Whatever..

that's also true. last weekend there was incessant whining about bruins players getting booed - but of course no mention of chara's thanks to the fans for cheering - when he won hardest slapshot and during the game when thomas played great. bottom line. i have come to expect 0 from that fan base. i used to think there was a chance at dialogue but not anymore. as mentioned i would love to come in as an underdog and play them in the 1st round again

Sorry emb24, but setting up a thread with a title that takes a shot at a whole fan base. That is flaming, and that is why this can't stick around.
