Alex Tanguay and now Robert Lang

For the Habs, it is a very bad year for the injuries: Alex Tanguay (5,6$M) and R. Lang (4$M) are out for a long time. Poor Bob Gainey, he is not very lucky with his players. They need Tanguay in the lineup rapidly, but when will he come back?

How many other threads about Lang are on the first page...this needed to have its own thread? Common man you could have posted this anywhere.

He was injured on December 30th and original estimation was six weeks, which would land on February 10th.

I do not know anything else after that.

This is not my point: it is not only Lang, those 2 injuries at key players really hurts the team.

Par for the course this season to have an entire forward line out.

This time it's Lats-Lang-Tanguay. Not a shabby scoring line by any means.

Losing Gorges also hurts badly; there's not as much NHL-ready depth there.

Is there a website where we can compare our total injuries with other teams? Or does someone have calculated how many games missed total we have so far?

Can you read? There's a thread right below yours detailing Latendresse's status.

It was minimum 8 weeks...so he won't be in the line-up for another month...

Total man-games lost is very misleading.

Losing Dandenault for several months has less impact than losing Koivu for three to four weeks, for example.

TSN said six, so that's what I was going by.
