Brunet vs Pednault

So, who would you rather have alongside Pierre Houde? Last year, I probably would've said "anyone but Yvon!" but after 50 games of Brunet... WOW! Please, PLEASE bring back Yvon. I know it won't happen, but Christ...

I know it's Brunet's first year, but that has nothing to do with his stupidity. At the beginning of the season, I thought he was okay. The more he got comfortable, the more we had to hear about his personal opinion on which players are the best cuddlers (Guillaume is, by the way).

I long for the games that can be seen on TSN...

thank god I don't understand French well enough to know what their opinions are, because according to this board, RDS is just a giant headache

Pierre McGuire & Gord Miller FTW

Pedneault hands down!

I look forward to the CBC games now, even if it's Bob Cole and bitter old Greg Millen.

Haha, I still won't watch CBC if Cole is doing the PBP. And I'll never watch a Sportsnet broadcast, but still...

Add a neither option.

I can't stand Brunet...but I was not able to stand Pednault either. Remember when Yvon was always talking for the players?

Anyways, Gord Miller is the best for play by play, and Pierre McGuire is a decent analyst. TSN is awesome!

Pednault had some vocabulary and great chemistry with Pierre. I don't know if you remember but last year there was a game vs the panthers and Pierre had lost his voice and I think that pedneault replaced him brilliantly....Imagine a whole game described by Brunet...

Plus when Yannick Bouchard says ''De retour à Pierre et Benoit!'', its just sounds weird in my opinion.

Brunet is just bad! Pednault was not that awful, but at least, there was a good chemistry between him and Houde.

The one I would pay to have is Dany Dubé. When I listen Habs game on the radio, I love so much Dubé.

I've been a long-time Pedneault hater. And I've supported Brunet A LOT at the beginning of the year. But his bias toward 3rd liners and francophone is now just too much for me to take. If Pierre and Yvon talked about the game instead of always talking about other things, they would have been great.

But Brunet.. man... I'm so tired of him. "Kovalev, Lang et Guillaume ont très bien fait sur ce jeu". Why???? Why giving the first name to the francophones? I don't understand that!

I still cringe when I watch some of last year's highlights and hear Pedneault's condescending tone.

I stand by my statement that I would rather listen to Alvin and the Chipmunks' commentary than Pedneault's.

Brunet stays by default.

Don't get me wrong there's a lot to hate about Brunet's style but the bar of mediocrity has been set so high by Pedneault that, in my eyes, Brunet has ways to go before reaching it.

Actually, Brunet mentionned a mistake that Lantendresse did on a play last game. I couldn't believe it.

RDS have so many "hockey analysts" on their staff that they should be able to replace Brunet easily.

Morissette, Demers or Bouchard would do a better job. They are certainly more entertaining and at least, as knowledgable !

I have a feeling that Brunet's contract won't be renewed.. They are preparing Bouchard.

Neither, honestly. The only addition I've liked to the staff thus far was Bouchard.

I HATED Pedneault but i have to vote for him. Benoit ''Moi jai pas de probleme'' Brunet is just brutal. Sometimes i just want to kick my television after hearing him say stupid thing.
