Only when team puts it down as one. If player says he's fine and doctors are ok with it, there's no mandatory sit-out period.

He surely is. At least you're coming in here with the right intention and you're man enough to do it. Good for you.

He is hurt, I'm just not sure if the 1 month period was really made official though.

Are you still going to grace us with your presence in the GDT?
Probably a few "told you so"'s but nothing major.
Carbonneau must be the only idiot in the world who realizes that something doesn't work but yet continues to try it. Too indicative of the short-comings of this team. They have brick-wall syndrome. Bang your head against the brick-wall and never adjust. Keep doing the same things, even if they're unsuccessful, they may work once.

S. Kostitsyn-Plekanec-A. Kostitsyn
Pacioretty-Koivu-D'Agostini
Higgins-Lapierre-Kostopolous
Henry-Begin-Kovalev

Those should be the lines. Andrei should never play with Kovalev, Carbonneau realized this, Andrei scored like 8 goals in 8 games and then since then they've been rotated back together and neither are performing. Kovalev is going to play by himself, so you might as well put your two most ineffective forwards with him.

I'm glad WTK, I was actually going to take a break tonight. But if I know you'll be around, I might just pop in.

Ok this is now the official GDT, thanks again otto bond.

I'm warning you, if we lose to Pittsburgh. I'm gonna go on a homicidal rampage.

Pittsburgh should be desperate coming in as they have dropped two straight and three of their last four, plus they need to get some wins or the battle for playoffs will be that much tougher down the road.

But then again, we should be desperate as well. We need all the wins we can get before that monstrous road trip coming up.

Looks fine to me. I like Koivu with D'Agostini because I really feel like he is a true sniper. Obviously a little green right now but I think he can really develop into a good player.

But really, when it comes to line combos I don't really care too much. I find people here take it way too seriously and I don't see a problem experimenting with different lines. I'm willing to give anything a chance.

Why do you think I'm going to hang around.

But I'm not worried, I honestly think we are going to win this one. In fact, I'm so confident that we're going to win that I propose a bet WTK.

If the Habs lose, my new signature will be whatever you want it to be. (Within reason and nothing rude) for 1 month.

But if the Habs win, I change your nickname for 1 week from WeThreeKings, to Carbo Supporter for 1 week. I will personally change it back after the week is finished.

Do we have a bet?

I would love it if the Pens got the 8th seed just to give the Bruins a run for their money in the first round... A first round matchup between the Pens and Bruins with both teams healthy would be great and highly entertaining if it did happen...

The Bruins would probably still win but having to face Crosby and Malkin in a 7 game series is no easy task and not a scenario I would want if I was the #1 seed going in....

No rush, you have until after the game to think of something. With your command of the English language, I'm expecting something big.

Haha. It won't be anything eloquent. It will probably be Carbonneau themed as well.

Even though playing Henry at forward is an unconventional move, I see that 4th line as having huge potential to raise hell on the ice.

Begin usually gets fired up after some pressbox time. Kosto is always motoring around looking for hits. Henry can play high, and join in on any down-low cycles they get going. Being the home team, Carbo doesn't have to worry about a terrible matchup if he throws them out there. I wouldn't want to be a small d-man on Pittsburgh against that line.

I'm going to call that this line will produce a couple huge scrums tonight. Hopefully they can add some spark, and not take any dumb penalties.

I'm calling a 5-3 Habs victory.
