Skipping this to go to trivia night at the bar. The game will be on there, and at least I'll have easy access to beer, if need be. Hopefully the boys can get something going early, or else I don't see this being a pretty game. I just hope they play a full 60 minutes, and put everything out on the ice to get a W.

Let's take 'em both!!!

Watching this with a bunch of Boston fans and also starting Marty in my fantasy league, so it'd be good if we could pull this one out.

Strong offensive team...and a strong defensive team? This is an uphill struggle for us.

Oh yeah I'm not hopeful, but my other goalie (Bryz) played last night and plays Detroit tonight.

So I mean, it's a crappy choice either way, but Marty hasn't played for like a week and maybe the team will be motivated after the turd they laid on Saturday night, and we're at home.

I dunno, like I said, I'm not hopeful. If anyone wants to talk me into Bryzgalov in the 2nd half of a back to back against Detroit, I'm willing to listen.

I have a good feeling about this game. I'll be watching with a die hard Bruins fan and these next few days will be like Christmas in February with the home and home. Last time we got together to watch Philly Boston was at the Fleet Center (when it was called that) and we lost 1-0 behind Jeff Hackett's stellar performance and 1st game as a Bruin.
Could have actually blamed that loss on myself as prior to the game we saw him in our hotel and had a discussion with him in the elevator, told him we were coming from Montreal to support him
(this was after he was trade from MTL to BOS) which of course was a lie, but it gave him a massive confidence boost it seemed.

Seems like everytime we play, it always ends up in OT somehow, i imagine more of that today.

I'm heading to the game on March 2nd or 3rd in Boston, thinking about wearing the Gagne jersey, but I probably won't cause I'll be sitting with the students who can get a little rowdy.

Just came in to say it's very likely Tim Thomas gets the start.

Amazing GDT btw.

To be honest, as long as you're not being too boisterous, etc you should be fine wearing a Gagne jersey.

As much as we dislike the Flyers, it's hard to say Gagne isn't an amazing player.

Agreed I do not like their announcers, I wish once in a while I got the Flyers coverage but I never seem to have such luck.

Brickley is usually very good...Edwards an acquired taste, LOL.

Just wanted to say you guys have an awesome GDT intro. Also, this is a home and home for PHI, but not for the B's. They have to head to OTT tomorrow night before returning home against the Flyers again on Saturday.

Lets go Flyers. We finally get to see where we stack up and hopefully they can pull it out. I just found out that I have roller hockey practice from 8-10 so I guess I'll be checkin the texts on the bench all night. At least beer and roller hockey is almost as good as beer and watching the Flyers.

Haha right there with you. Going to have to watch it on itunes or Hulu (Lost).

Anyway there really is no good plan against these guys other than stay out of the box(yea i know) and play a solid 60 minutes of playoff hockey. Get people in front of Thomas, he is flopping around out there which can leave some WIDE open nets.
