Yes I'm actually french, but I grew up as an anglo. So I don't get to speak french very often. Only when I visit relatives in Quebec.

I speak French a little, have a huge problem understanding Quebecois French, so I watch RDS. I grew up Anglo as well and like to think I know more than the average anglo.

You can see Koivu and Higgins have their game back after long injuries. Everyone played good last night and that is encouraging.

i have a feeling this line will do even better than Lats-Lapy-Kosto and that line was very effective as well.. sk, lapy and pac played super well last night, i loved the hustle from all three of them, good job guys!

I am still amazed that this team can put in such amazing efforts like last night and at the same time play like they did in the two Florida games. A little more consistent effort like yesterday and this team will do very well.

Nice to see Kovalev working hard, good game from him. Hope they can build off this and turn things around from the slump they have been in. Pac with a big game, great to see and as already stated O'B looking much better this time around. Maybe next time a kid in his first full season struggles, people will not be so harsh, but I know that's asking too much.

Higgins has been picking up his play as of late. Good to see him get back some rhythm and confidence. He will be a key player for us if he can find his old form. Keep it up Higgy

ZING!!

2 weeks later he was traded
This is why Joe Thornton plays on the best team in the West, being paid $7M a year and has a great chance at winning the Cup, while PJ Stock is a 33 year old already retired out of hockey and having to be a clown on a radio show.

No respect for the captain? There is the door.

I don't want this to come off as harsh or whatever (and I do understand he's trying his best), but I don't understand how the players could take him seriously when he speaks that poorly.
If I was one of the players and he came into the dressing room and said "I'm so dissapoin, about alots of you guy, im very dissapoint", I don't know if I could stop myself from laughing (or at the very least smirking).

Sergei played his best game this year
Tomplex played one HELLUVA game
Hammer found his aplomb last night. very solid performance.
Carey made the big saves.
Kovy was flying out there, very reassuring.
Obyrne definately is playing with more confidence.
Markov showed a cute little mean streak throughout the game.
Higgins is back baby. Very gritty last night, and boy can he skate!

all around fantastic effort from our boys.

on a side note, Pittsburgh is definately struggling on all fronts. Fleury was their only star last night. Michel Fait-rien's days are counted.

oya--- i was watchin the game on FSN. is it me or did those announcers have a mancrush on this Caputi guy?? my gawd...get over it. one garbage goal and allosudden hes Mario... *facepalm*

Maybe the guy's system, experience and record mandates respect

Oh, and they beat a team they're supposed to beat after going through a rough patch.

Oh and they won so they must have grit, desire, fire, emotion, etc.

But there's no double standard when it comes to English . . .

We're wrong b/c we'd like Koivu to at least be able to say more than bonjour, but god help the person who can't speak flawless English?

Nice.

No, it's more fun to laugh at the way the man speaks his second language.
