Those hands don't really look human.

Are you a scientologist, by any chance?

Why didn't you simply ask why the hands didn't look real, instead of trying to poke me with a stupid scientology question?

Dude, not because it's a tattoo it has to be drawn to be like a picture. It's a drawing based on some comic book style images.

A tattoo needs to be simple, because over the years, the ink gets thicker and if there's too much detail in a tattoo, it will look weird later. And I didn't want my tattoo to look weird in 20 years.

For example, that's why the scroll is so big, cuz I want the letters to be easy to read forever. Smaller letters would become hard to read, all the spaces inside a letter could become filled with ink.

Happy now?

The hands are poorly drawn.

Sorry for the tags, I just wanted to protect this picture.

I did the concept, the design and my tattoo artist, Pat Les Os (ta2.ca) drew it and did the job.

CTV News came and filmed when I was being tattoo'd last thursday. It will be shown on CTV News in a week or so.
Pretty awesome, even if a Flyers tattoo would be better .

Wow did they use a 90year old with severe arthritis to model for the hands? Like really is the torch being passed to the representative from the Valley of the Lepers?

Shoulda left the hands and torch off.

It was tough. It took 6 hours to do. It was cold, I was hungry, I couldn't drink alcohol to diminish the pain. But in the end, it was well worth the experience. :-)

Hahaha. Well, if you don't like it, that's your prerogative. I don't care. I like it, that's the important thing.

LIVED. Cuz I'm moving, near the Canadiens training center in Brossard. :-)

Nope, not really. Things are falling into place, I was in relationships with non-Habs fans and non-Tattoo fans for many years.

My tattoo made it in the newspaper this morning, in La Presse:

And they quoted me twice:

Here I mention why I did this tattoo.

And here I talk about my own views regarding the battle against the Bruins. Where I think that Montreal has a chance, but there are too many 'Ifs'. But if the 'Ifs' happen, they can win.
