Kristo and '09 USHLers Free Webcast

You can watch Danny Kristo at the USHL All Star game tonight for free, this is not a regular all star game as it's full of scouts from the NHL and NCAA, I've seen Pacioretty and Paul Stastny at past all star games, they are fun to watch since the kids are playing in front of scouts. Here's the roster,

http://www.ushl.com/news/story.cfm?id=2039

In addition to Kristo, Check out,

Max Nicastro - Chicago
Alex Chiasson - Des Moines
Mike Lee - Fargo
Seth Helgeson - Sioux City
Louis Leblanc - Omaha

Strange....mine is perfect....

Leblanc so far is pretty good. Not a lot of hitting though it slowly starts to hit a little more, but Leblanc has been able to show some sick skills, sick puckhandling. I like Alex Chiasson also #9 for the Blue, great size 6'4'' 180lbs.

Montreal,

I'm not too sure about Helgeson....seems clumsy and doesn't have the fastest feet going on for him.....not sure he fits in the Timmins radar nor am I sure I like him. Though it's only 1 period and a half of an all-star game.....You've seen him more than I did so what do you think of him as far as agility, skating and decision making?

only watched the 2nd and 3rd period

had one good scoring chance flying down the wing with his great speed and thats about it

was skating well but other than that chance didnt do much offensively that i can remember

didnt had a lot of thing to proved in that game since he's already drafted and already committ to north dakota

I only saw parts of the game since I was trying to watch that game, the Leafs game, the Pens game and the OHL All-Star game.....but like Markov79fan said, he wasn't too noticeable except for just a few occasions where he demonstrated his speed and his puckhandling. On a bad note, was going on a 2 on 1 with somebody and decided to drop a pass to a D who was coming to make it a 3 on 1 but was closely checked so they lost the puck.

The kid needs some serious bulking up to do. But is an interesting prospect to say the least.

I think he needs to work on his agility but I'm not worried that it will hold him back, not sure if Timmins would be interested in him but I like him and hope the Habs do too. Looks like he plays with a mean streak from when I saw him play against Kristo at the start of the year. Was hitting everyone, reminded me of Komisarek a bit, when the players he hit would try and get up near him, he would just shove them back down to the ice.

What's this so-called "innovative" icing rule they have in the USHL?
