I believe in Pietrangelo still, and would still pick him over everyone listed but he's close to Filatov.

Stamkos
Doughty
Bogosian
Schenn
Filatov
Pieterangelo

Not sure where this Filatov love is comming from, hes shown he can score but he's also shown that he's brittle and reluctant to pass. Still a good player, but I dont understand what he's done to move up.

Nikita Filatov.

Only reason he wasn't drafted 2nd overall is because of concerns over his ability to transfer.

Now that he's over, he's easily a top two pick - but he'll have to settle for #3 I guess.

I don't wanna sound like a homer, but Cody Hodgson is sooooo underrated.

He was arguably the MVP of the world juniors. The only thing that seperated him from Stamkos in the draft was his skating ability, which has improved. Re-do this poll in 2/3 years and I think Doughty/Hodgson fight it out for #1

Not true. He stated himself he is wants to play in the NHL. Was ready to suite him in the CHL. He said it himself, Bob Mckenzie said it, everyone knew he was willing to come to North America.

Zach Bogosian for me. Infact, I will take him, and Schenn above Filatov.

All the top guys are playing in the NHL right now. Stamkos has higher upside than Hodgson too. Really, I don't think Hodgson is top 5 calibre in this draft, not that he is a bad player. He will be very good, just not as good as Stamkos, Doughty, Bogo, Schenn and Filatov.

Schenn for me, he is really showing defensive prowess and at a really young age. He's a good player to watch.

EDIT: I think Boedker will be overlooked by HFboards, but he is simply a joy to watch. He will be a top player for Phoenix.

how does Filatov have more votes than Bogosian?

Bogosian is going to be everything Erik Johnson was supposed to be prior to the injury

Hodgson is not underrated at all, only overrated by Canuck fans, thus it requires some of us to inject reality, which is seen as underrating him
