Buf-LA-Van

To Buf:
Raymond
Salo
Conditional 3rd round pick from Van if Kotalik is re-signed by LA.

To LA:
Kotalik

To Van:
Stafford
Quincey

Buffalo gets a solid top 4 dman sigend to a good deal, along with a speedy young winger whose game fits the Sabre's style in return for a young winger and a UFA top 6 winger. They also get a 3rd round pick from Van if Kotalik is re-signed by the Kings.

LA gets a UFA top 6 winger in exchange for a powerplay quarterback. LA has plenty of dmen, so they can afford to lose Quincey for a top 6 foward.

Vancouver loses alot of expierence but they end up getting the powerplay quarterback they need, and a young winger who better fits this team's style than Raymond.

Why. Just why.

Why do we want to trade Stafford now that Vanek-Connolly-Stafford line is just on fire? There is zero reason to trade Stafford, and I'd hope that a Stafford + Kotalik package could net us something better.

If we want a guy like Salo, we'll use picks/prospects to get him, not proven guys like Stafford, and especially not when we're a playoff contender.

And we don't need Raymond, we need Stafford. Raymond may be fast, but we need some size, too, and Stafford fits the bill much better.

Kings don't need to move Quincey for another marginal forward.

LA gets screwed in this one, Kotalik isn't that great....certainly not worth giving up a solid young top 4 dman

Why the **** would they get VANCOUVERS draft pick if the KINGS resign him? That's insane. Then again, the proposal isn't great either, and I highly doubt Salo waives his NTC.

I'd love to have Stafford or Kotalik.

Raymond, SOB, Welly, ugh I dunno if the Canucks have what it takes

Exactly not to mention with the age of Quincey and as well as he has played, I would think that DL is considering him part of this teams core.

All of these stupid threads where people think Buffalo is willing to part with Stafford need to stop. It's not happening folks. He's on Buffalo's top line and not going anywhere. Offer him a huge rfa contract this summer and hope Buffalo doesn't match. Otherwise, move along...

stop making stafford proposals, unless you are offering the BEST under 25 year old player on your team and a 1st.
