Huge game. Lets see what Rinne can do. The matchups slant towards the Ducks in just about every category......so this is going to come down to discipline, will, and goaltending.

ward-bonk-smithson has been a very good 3rd line over these past few games. Lately they know their role and it shows, Ward especially.

Hiller played last night in Minnesota where the Ducks lost 3-0 (ENG). Hopefully with the back to back games we see Giguere tonight against the "weaker" Nashville team.

well now sure would be an excellent time for the Ducks to go into a slide, we need help from some of these teams, I feel bad for Coyotes fans but it is just what we need to happen from here on out.

I thought yesterday on XM I heard that Giggy is having a rough time after his father died and the Ducks were going to sit him until he got through it some. I had the impression we would see Hiller tonight but not really sure.

Lousy no-call on Bonk getting dumped, followed by the iffy call on Hamhuis= 3-2. The Hammer call I could live with if they don't miss the blatant call 15 seconds earlier that also cost us the chance to clear the zone. Still, the lead after 2 periods.

That was a really nice game by our Preds. No bad outings by anyone that I can think of at the moment. Legwand suddenly seems to be creating offensive chances for himself. Erat was flying tonight. Best set of creative offensive chances for Sully since he came back.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat tomorrow night in Minnesota.

Jones standing in the slot and using his body on the boards is the difference for Legwand and Erat right now. Good to see him get that little tip goal tonight, that puck goes wide off of the d-man if not for Jones redirecting it.

We really won all of the battles last night. Aside from an outstanding effort out of Perry and Selanne, and we really didn't do much wrong last night. Great effort out of everyone. The board work was outstanding. We beat a bigger, physical team, in the corners all night long......wow!

Jones played probably his best game as a Predator last night.

I agree, the second line unit was creating great pressure, Jones brings what that group lacked. Erat's best game in a while, he was dangerous with the puck. Rinne was solid and the D men blocked uncounted passes and shots. Anaheim's commentators were very complimentary. One of the better duos to listen to, actually, very balanced.

Except they confused Ward with Jones and kept referring to some guy named "Pilsson."

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. Some of the better announcers in the league. Very knowledgeable and unbiased.

Well, you are right on those two, but compared to some of clowns I've heard, these guys seemed to understand the game, complimented players from both sides, and were pretty inoffensive.
