keeping with the older the better, I'd go with

Richard, Howe, Orr and Plante or Sawchuk

Gretzky, Howe, Orr, and probably Richard, although Sawchuck would also be fine by me.

Hate not having Howe or Sawchuk up there.

Gretzky, Orr, Howe are in most people's top four... then it gets harder to choose and there is more variance. Personally, I'd have The Rocket.

Gretzky, Howe, Orr, Tretiak. Maybe Mario, or Richard. I'm open for whoever. Maybe a face with a ? mark.

I'm going with Gretz, Orr, Howe, and Richard. Lemieux's career was too injured and in terms of historical weight being behind Gretz hurts him as an all time icon figure. Still hard to leave him off.

Classic. Maybe an honorable mention to Patrick Stefan?

Gretzky, Lemieux, Roy, Orr.... How is this even a question?

EDIT: If you don't want a goalie, the obvious pick is Mr. Hockey

What about Scotty Bowman or Herb Brooks? It doesn't have to be all players, right?

Gretz, Lemieux, Orr and Howe... and of course as head carver of said figures, I'd sneak in a little bust of myself (which I'm sure would get blasted off when discovered )
This.

For Frölunda:

Lars Erik Lundvall and Ronald Pettersson are locks, with Gert Blomé, Ulf Sterner, Jörgen Pettersson, Christer Kellgren, Janne Karlsson, and Stefan Larsson competing for the last two spots.

Imagine Ricci, Domi, Iafrate, and Shanny, to see how big of an eyesore they could make it.
