Another struggler.

I'll help you out. Best offensive player. Criticizing Spezza for defense or bringing up Zetterberg being the better overall player is pointless in this thread, and makes you look dumb.

So if the system is so succesful then why don't most of the teams in the league it? Or can it be that Detroit has the players that make the system good?

They are good players and the system suit them well but its pretty common the see players get overrated because of the success.

Zetterberg because he is a little bit better of an all around player

Spezza doesn't even play any defense, so I voted for Zetterberg.

Angry replies and accusations of illiteracy.

Actually, to me it seems like Zetterberg is both more capable of scoring on his own, and more capable of using his linemates. I'm more scared of seeing Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Holmstrom on the ice together than I am of seeing Alfredsson, Spezza, and Heatley, despite the fact that Holmstrom is kind of an anchor on that line, as far as relative talent goes.

If we are just focusing on the offensive aspect then it's Spezza. His on ice vision and playmaking skills are better then Zetterberg's. Goal scoring wise it's probably Zetterberg but Spezza's shot is very underrated.

Damn.

You're right. I did.

I would probably say Spezza is slightly better offensively. Voted Z prematurely. Story of my life.
