This isn't looking like the start to the game I was hoping for.

Could Hartnell control a single goddamned outlet on the boards? Is that too much to ask? Every damn time it gets past him.

Um, Biron stopped the initial shot, he stopped the rebound shot and then the third one was finally whacked in. Yup, just let a guy keep banking the **** away at the puck in front of your goalie, it's not the defenses job to prevent those shots. Yes Biron should have been up against the post but the ****ing defense shouldn't havbe let the same ****ing guy get 3 or 4 shots in a 2 second span.

It would be nice if Parent developed some kind of edge.

I like the kid a lot, but he is almost too cool at times.

Lol, get used to it, that's what happens when AHL players move up to the NHL. The game is much much faster and the players see those passes much quicker and they pick them off.

This is going to be a long afternoon.

Why the hell would Stevens take Vaananen from defense to forward? How about Jones? He can't play D, so at least give him a shot at forward.

Here nor there, but I do believe he knocked in the first rebound. I didn't see multiple 'whacks'. In any event...that should not have gone in. I blame Biron for not squeezing the puck, and like you said...the defense for not clearing the crease.

It looked like when he walked around the net when he shot it, it trickled through Biron's legs, and after seeing the reverse angel replay, I don't think anyone whacked at it, it just went in on the initial shot
