Daniel Briere's 04/05 Point Total?

Hey guys,

I'm in a fantasy hockey pool . It ISN"T a keeper league. Points are the only thing that matters in the league, no penalty minutes, etc...

Daniel Briere is available through a trade.

What are your expectations of him next year? Will he be the 1st line center? Do you think he'll see any power play time? Is 75 points a possibility?

Any thoughts/input?

Thanks!

He was last year.

For the bulk of the time Briere centered Satan and Dumont on the first line while Drury centered Hecht and, after the trade deadline, Grier on the second line.

Briere just may lead the team in points next year. One of Briere, Hecht, and Satan are the likely candidates for leading the team in points, in my opinion.

Briere will get plenty of first unit PP time. Pick him up!

I'd figure the same as last season.

I look at the lines more as 1a and 1b.

Dumont-Briere-Satan; is more of the "top" line because of their offensive nature and the fact that it includes Satan and Briere, but Hecht is better than Dumont and Drury is just as capable a No.1 center as Briere. Grier, usually a 3rd or 4th line player, and their great defensive instincts/responsibility is what takes Hecht and Drury to 2nd line status.

They need to reunite Dumont - Briere - Hecht again, that line was amazing.
