stars to me, i hate the stars plus theyve played the stars in the playoffs a few different years. if the blues were any good id maybe go with them but with pronger gone and the blues arent very good you can count them out.
There we go, damm poll was a pain to make. In any case to answer the question in the first topic, and here, I say Ducks is the Sharks greatest rival. Yes there behind in the standings but they have something about them, plus the NorCal/SoCal thing, it just turns their games up a level. Best playoff series I say would still be Sharks vs Ducks.

that is a good rivalry. i went to like 2 sharks/ducks games 2 years ago and it was a lot of fun and the crowd was amped. too bad sharks got their ***** kicked
kings sharks was a nice rivalry when the sharks first came into the league. i saw a few bench clearing fights

Sharks/Kings games can be rather good, the teams do bring the best out in each other sometimes. Its a shame the Kings just isn't any good compition right now.
For me it always is Detroit. Some might call it jealousy, but I hate them. Even route against them. Get mad seeing "Red" tail lights on the 101 on the way to the game. Their fans - Wingnutz (seeming to number over a thousand in years past) at the game become obnoxious when they win. Detroit has been a measuring stick for our devision (and they don't even want to be in the west for crying out loud) for too long and I would like to see the shift in power dominance permanetly to us. We stoled thier coach, next the cup.
Everyone we've lost to in the P/O's would be the obvious ones ... Calgary, Edmonton, Dallas and Detroit. But I have a particular dislike for the Ducks and Pronger borne from his St Louis days. He hits like a freight train, is a border line cheap shot artist, and then whines like a baby when he is called for a foul. (I hope the Ducks don't trade him though or I'll stop hating them)
Second would be Detroit after that Game 4 loss ..... they have been the biggest pain in our collective buts (except the 2004 season .... )
Have to go with Detroit - getting past them again has been the ultimate goal for the Sharks forever, they are the measuring stick as was mentioned above...the Dallas wound is fresher, and Anaheim with Pronger earn a special kind of hate...but the Red Wings and their smug fans who try to take over the Tank are top of my list.
