Looks like we wont find out the lineup for tonight until Game time. No mention of line combo's either. Carbo will prob throw names in a hat during the pre-game skate to decide those haha. Could see anything by the time the puck drops...

Poor Carbo...if he keeps his lines together for more than 2 games then he gets yelled at for not changing the lines...if he switches them up, he gets yelled at for not keeping lines together.

I wasn't impressed with saturday's game...I'm sure the players are pretty embarassed, let's see how they respond tonight.

I have no problem leaving them together and giving them a chance to respond. I personally believe that the lines should be kept stable for a longer period of time to allow for chemistry and for players to find a rhythm. My thing is I don't think that those lines especially the Ak-Pleks-Kovy line has shown any signs of being special at any point they have been together all year and thus was hoping for a few adjustments followed by several games of stability in which we see how those new lines whatever they may be work out but again thats just me. I hope they prove me wrong and have a great game. In the end i could care less what the lines look like so long as we get the much needed W!

It's because he makes the stupidest changes when he does change them.

He's tried putting the Kovalev line together like 5 different times this year, each time it hasn't worked. Andrei Kostitsyn was playing very well until Carbonneau decided to put him back with Kovalev, now he's looking just awful because Kovalev is trying to do everything himself.

I doubt you'd find many people here who would complain if Carbonneau broke up the lines from the last game, they clearly don't work.

In the playoffs last year, it worked very well in game 7 versus Boston but didn't do much versus Philly just like the rest of our team.
