It is something that would worry me if I were as Habs fan (which I'm not) but price wore no neck protection last night against the Leafs. One puck or errant skate blade and it's game over for him.

Why would the organization let him do that? They have quite a lot invested in the kid.
A neck protector won't protect Carey from his coach cutting his throat after the game in his post-game interview.

Someone please tell me how many starting goalies are in the NHL that are as young or younger than Price (21)?

A - 1.

We are so far ahead (and set) of pretty much every team in the NHL in regards to our goal-tending it's not even funny.

We are set for 15+ years between the pipes with this guy, granted the idiots don't chase him out of town first...

Remeber, 21 people, with the equivalent of just over a season of NHL experience.

You'll notice real Habs fans wouldn't even dignify this thread with a response. But I'm here just in cased you all missed the memo:

We're Montreal fans. Not Philly fans. Either get down or lay down. You all have short memorys which just makes me ever the more happy that we have a GM named Bob Gainey. Keep QQing. Bobs not listening to you.

Bob's not listening to anyone? Great.

How's that working for him? 1 playoff series win since being here.

$500 for a flight...
$250 for a ticket...
and another $200 for food, hotel and cabs. (Not even going to include the amount spent on alcohol because I drank wayyy too much after that garbage game)

I can't believe I wasted that much money to see that brutal game.

I find it hilarious how people are giving up on Price, he was the only reason the game was still close after the first period and having it been his second game in two nights he was probably a bit fatigued too and that first period didn't help his cause.

The only positives out of the game were:

- Pacioretty was awesome out there
- D'Ago played very well, maybe he can replace Lang on the left side now on 5 on 3's... he probably wouldn't miss all those open nets
- O'Byrne has been playing well since his recall
- Higgins is starting to look like the old Higgins we saw 2 years ago
- When Kostopoulos lifted the puck off the net and put it on the ice and **** it in with 5 seconds left in the game and complained when the ref didn't count it

The bad:

- Kovalev
- Kovalev's line... (please get Andrei K. away from him already)
- The powerplay
- Carbonneau
- Francis Bouillon... I liked him before but as each game passes I hate him more and more

Growing pains....as an organization I think we need patience instead of a bunch of big fire sales, the chemistry was close last year.....it was tweaked a bit and now starting to look like for the worse. But helll who can tell, injuries have plagued us all season. If were
gonna finish out of the bubble so be it, I just hope we don't make any trades we will regret later. To me this team looks like its missing leadership and with that goes consistency. Oh yeah the goaltending needs to be better.
