Toronto trades Pavel Kubina to Florida because they want J-Bow to resign (so they give him someone to play with) and decides to go all out this year to make a strong playoff push but ends up failing miserably and J-Bow signs with Toronto in the off season... making Jacques Martin look like a complete fool once again and gets fired because he traded Matthias, Welch and a 1st round pick for Kubina (lol)

God I hope not.

At this point I'd like to see how the Canucks do over the next two weeks before making any predictions and I highly doubt the Canucks trade their 1st round draft pick for a rental player unless it's a high impact player like Bouwmeester.

Note: If someone gets a prediction correct or is at least pretty close to it, I will post the users name just for bragging rights.

Lets get it started!
1. Tampa will not trade either of Lecavalier or St. Louis.
2. Gary Roberts will be traded to Calgary for a draft pick.
3. Mark Recchi will be traded to Philadelphia for a draft pick and a prospect.
4. Washington will trade Michael Nylander and through an unrelated trade bring in Derek Morris from Phoenix.
5. San Jose will trade Jonathan Cheechoo to the NY Islanders for Trent Hunter.
6. Brian Burke will land a bunch of draft picks in 2009 draft by dealing the likes of Kaberle, Joseph, Antropov, Moore, Stajan, Stempniak, Ponikarovsky, Frogren, Mike Van Ryn and White. He'll try to deal Kubina, Finger, Hagman and Blake but they're outrageous contracts he is stuck with, says Yoda.
7. Doug Weight ends up in Chicago. Shot in the dark has Petri Kontiola heading to NYI.
8. Ottawa will deal Kuba to an Atlantic Division team, either NJ or PHI.
9. Pittsburgh will land a big time winger(i'm going to guess Milan Hejduk to be exact) at the expense of either Goligoski, Letang or Whitney
10. Nobody is interested in Mike Comrie but several GMs show interest in his girlfriend Hilary Duff

Tampa will give you Recchi. He may be a defensive liability but he'll still put up points.

We shall give nothing, sir!

We demand a draft pick at the very least! We are cashing in on Recchi by March 4th!

To the person who said about Hartnell/JVR.

I doubt Hartnell waives his NTC/NMC whichever it may be at all.

I could see Recchi back in orange and black.

This type of move is more likely to happen at the draft then at the deadline imo.

Colorado finally gets in range to have a shot a Tavares but they trade a first for Doug Wieght and miss the playoffs. In an attempt to reconnect with the fans they sign Arnason to a ten year extension.

-Detroit makes no moves for the first time in years
-Washington makes a big move
-Toronto trades one of Kaberle/Kubina but the trade value is some what shocking to our "community" at HF
-Edmonton makes several moves at or a litlte before the deadline day.
Sadly, I agree with you. I don't think either guy has enough trade value to make it worth the Isles trouble to make a move - especially since they still need vet leadership next season.

According to the Ottawa Sun, the Panthers and Flyers are discussing a deal that could send Bouwmeester to Philadelphia for top prospect forward James van Riemsdyk and veteran left wing Scott Hartnell.
